Inspired by the geometry of rain droplets falling into water, this table mimics the symmetry of the ripples as they radiate outward ad infinitum. Crafted using a tight fitting half lap joinery, the heptagons are centered around an aluminum disc, adding additional strength to the structure, and ensuring proper alignment of it’s radiating elements.
