Jesse Shaw, principal and designer at JShaw Furniture, graduated at the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship in Rockport, Maine. in 2006 In his second year, he was awarded a fellowship where he honed his skills learning from the master craftsmen that taught at the school. Later while obtaining his MFA in furniture design at the Savannah College of Art and Design he lived and worked with Italian Designers in MIlan. After graduating Jesse became the lead furniture designer for Currey & Company, a pioneer in home decor. In 2016, he made guest appearances on the PBS television show, Rough Cut Woodworking with Tommy Mac. Jesse teaches several woodworking classes at the Cambridge Center for Adult Education (CCAE) and Elliot St School in Jamacia Plain. His work has been displayed at the Wharton Eshrick Museum, Savannah College of Art & Design Museum and in 2019 was awarded best in the craft at the Fitchburg Museum, 


JShaw Furniture creates distinctive furniture and lighting designs for individual clients and private collections. Our designs have been displayed at the Wharton Esherick Museum, Design Museum Boston, the Savannah College of Art & Design Permanent Collection, and in other venues.
