Jesse Shaw, graduated at the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship in Rockport, Maine. in 2006 In his second year, he was awarded a fellowship where he honed his skills learning from the master craftsmen that taught at the school. While obtaining his MFA in furniture design at the Savannah College of Art and Design he studied and learned from designers in Milan. After graduating Jesse became the lead furniture designer for Currey & Company in Atlanta GA, where he had the opportunity to travel internationally and work with factories all over the world. In 2016, he made guest appearances on the PBS television show, Rough Cut Woodworking with Tommy Mac. Jesse also teaches woodworking classes at the Cambridge Center for Adult Education (CCAE) and Elliot St School in Jamacia Plain. His work has been displayed in numerous exhibits, galleries & museums including the Wharton Eshrick Museum, SCAD Permanent Collection. The Fitchburg Museum and more.
